  • Erik Wagner is a choreographer, educator, film maker, and performer from Clearwater, Florida. He danced with San Francisco Ballet, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, and the Stadttheater Bern, before shifting his focus to education. He was a faculty member with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, training program, and dance center (2012-2022), and a guest lecturer at Stanford University (2013-2015). His views on teaching have been published by Dance Teacher Magazine, and his class live-streamed via Dance Magazine. Now, Erik is shifting his focus to directing and choreography.

    “It’s time to reorient myself with the work, dance, and the community.” As Close As Possible, is the premiere performance of Erik’s company concept, BEHOLDER.

    Erik’s choreographic works have been performed for the West Wave Dance Festival, Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, KUNST-STOFF, Joe Goode-Feedback, The News: Fresh Queer Performance, Dance Theater of San Francisco, University of South Florida, Studio@620, and the Lines Ballet training program. His film credits include, AS IF, San Francisco Dance Film Festival, 2016, and Rare Birds, a film he directed, choreographed and shoot in 2021.

  • Jamielyn Duggan is a multidisciplinary San Franciscan artist rooted in contemporary performance and visual design. Spanning over twenty years in the field, she contains experience in varied forms as a: dancer, designer, stylist, director, choreographer, model and actress thru the mediums of live performance, experiences, photography and film. Currently a tenured dancer with the San Francisco Opera and co-founder of Collective Attention, she is grateful to be expanding her creative practices thru inspired action and is available as a collaborator, consultant and muse.

  • Carolina (Carro) Czechowska was born in Stockholm and received her education at the Royal Swedish Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, The Boston Ballet, and Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet Training Program. In San Francisco, she has danced with RAWdance, Capacitor, James Graham Dance Theatre, and Garrett & Moulton Productions (2011-19). In 2019, she joined Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, where she is currently a company member. Internationally, she has been part of Tino Seghal's world-renowned installations and worked with Johannes Wieland at the 2015 “One Small Step” festival. Developed during the pandemic, Carro joined Moving Isolation, an award-winning online international collaboration led by Swedish choreographer Anna Holter.

    Outside of dancing, Carro has taught classical Pilates for thirteen years and is the founder of Body Bottega. She recently co-launched Collective Attention with an artist residency at SHACK15 and is the Director of Community Research and Engagement at the International Museum of Dance. In 2017, she was awarded an "Izzie"; The Isadora Duncan Dance Award for outstanding individual performance.

  • Galen Rogers is a taiko teaching artist and dance professional based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He teaches taiko, gamelan, and creative process at high schools and elementary schools around the Bay Area; he is the director of Jiten Daiko, a taiko ensemble based in San Francisco; and he has danced professionally with James Graham Dance Theater, Student Government, and Lauren Simpson Dance. When he dances, he looks for connection, integrity, and pleasure.
